Double EE Sales is probably the smallest industrial supplier you will deal with. If that doesn’t run you off, let us tell you the rest of the story. We have been in the wholesale hardware business since 1986. We owned a hardware store and began buying items in bulk and dividing it up with other stores, allowing us to compete with the big boxes in the areas we deemed important. The hardware store was sold and we began to concentrate on the wholesale business exclusively. That was in 1995. For the past 26 years we have focused on providing specialty hardware items to hardware and building supply stores in North East Georgia. We physically stock about 3500 of the fastest moving items, but we have access to over 70,000 items on a weekly basis. We have a small sales force of four, who have a combined experience in the hardware business of around 85 years. If you look over our web site, you will see that our specialty is in tools—hand tools and long handle garden tools. However, if you look further, you will realize that we move many other items that do not fit into this product mix. What we try to do, is find items that customers need, inventory them in our warehouse and sell them at the lowest price possible. To learn this side of the business, we have established accounts with a few industrial accounts, and the response has been positive.
